Our vision
A Little about Japan
Japan has a population of 126 million people, but only about two tenths of one percent (0.2%) follow Christ. Japan has long been considered to be one of the most resistant countries to the gospel. We believe we will see a breakthrough. Even though there are difficulties, there is a great harvest waiting to be reaped: “Open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest” (John 4:35).
Reproducing
Our vision is to reproduce disciples, leaders, and churches that multiply throughout Japanese society and throughout Asia. This requires new models for discipleship and church planting, as well as new methods of spreading the gospel, especially among young people. Sunrise is dedicated to the Supremacy of Christ as we innovate in areas of evangelism and discipleship.
