39 Days in Romans 8!
Please join us in our study of Romans Chapter 8!
Romans 8 is often regarded as the greatest chapter in the Bible. It contains some of the greatest promises and truths about God's love for us and about our walk with God in the Scripture. This Friends Bible Study on Romans 8 will help every participant grasp the chapter's message and main points. Huge blessings from this chapter will be with you for life (and maybe even longer). The format, plan, and details are below.
Romans 8 Study Plan
Start: January 19, 2026
Pace: One verse a day (five days a week). There are 39 verses, so it will take 39 days.
Group: This study can be done in a small group of 2-10 people (or a little more). However, even if you have a larger group, it is best to do daily sharing with a sharing partner (2 or 3 people). We suggest that larger groups meet online or face-to-face for an hour or so (not too long) twice a month.
Friends Bible Study Format
Our goal is to have an easy-to-understand and doable system of study. Our simple approach is:
Read, Write, Share, Listen
- Read. Read Romans 8 each day of the study. Read each verse reflectively and out loud.
- Write. Prepare a notebook, phone, pad, or computer for your daily study. Answer the meditation questions provided for each verse. There will be 1 or 2 meditation questions for each verse.
- Share. Sharing the Word is a vital part of Friends Bible Study. Share simply with your sharing partner via WhatsApp, Messenger, LINE, or other social media. One short paragraph is enough! If you are using a device, just copy and paste a main point from your study. If possible, meet face-to-face or via the internet when you can.
- Listen. Listen to the audio commentary provided for each verse after completing your own meditation. Each audio clip will be around 3-4 minutes long (see information below).
