Focus on Jesus!
A. What did I learn from Jesus? What is He saying to me?
B. How will I follow Jesus today?
C. How can I become like Jesus through this study?

Romans 8:13  For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

Meditate on these questions.

1. Give examples of how living according to the sinful nature produces death in us.
2. Give examples of how to put to death the deeds of the sinful nature by the Spirit? How does this produce life?

1. What does it mean practically to be led by the Spirit of God daily?

Romans 8:15 For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption to sonship, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!"

Meditate on these questions.

1. Why do some people live in fear and feel like slaves even though they believe in Jesus?
2. What is the Spirit of sonship?  Do you know that you are God's son or daughter and have the freedom to pray to God as your Papa or Daddy? Explain your answer.
